Lynda has been working with clay for almost 13 years. After studying ceramics & craft design in Dublin & Derry, she worked for several years for a potter in her native Sligo before establishing her own pottery studio in Sligo town in 2007.

Each one of Lynda’s pieces is made entirely by hand. From throwing & hand building to glazing & firing, Lynda creates every pot individually.

She has developed as a functional potter but also enjoys using some sculptural techniques in conjunction with throwing. This offers a sort of freedom with the clay & gives a quirky, fluid, almost off balance effect to her white crackle range of candelabras & ’drunk pots’.

In January 2012 Lynda won Best New Product at Showcase 2012 in the RDS for her iconic twin serving dish.
